She was “surprised” by Duchess Meghan’s statements

Oprah Winfrey conducted an interview with Meghan and Harry in which Meghan accuses the Royals. This would have “surprised” Winfrey.
Oprah Winfrey, 67, has in a livestream talk talked to presenter Nancy O’Dell (55) about the much-discussed interview she conducted with Prince Harry (36) and wife Duchess Meghan (39) in March of this year. “I had no idea that it would have this reverberant effect that it had and continues to have,” said the US talker. “Our mutual intention was the truth. They wanted to be able to tell their story as honestly as possible,” Winfrey continued.
In the sensational interview, Duchess Meghan claimed, among other things, that before the birth of her son Archie (1), concerns about the color of the skin were expressed in the circle of the Royal Family. Meghan’s openness “surprised” her very much, admits Winfrey in the livestream talk. This was already clear from her reactions during the conversation, when she said, “I beg your pardon?” After the serious accusations. asked in the direction of Meghan. The interview was not so powerful because of her questions, but because her interviewee was ready to be “open, vulnerable and truthful”.
In the March 7 interview, Duchess Meghan stated: “There was talk about how dark our baby’s skin would be.” Prince Harry’s wife did not want to reveal who is said to have made the relevant statements, as that would be “too harmful” for the person concerned.
