The jury of Opus Klassik has announced the winners, including names such as star pianist Lang Lang and opera singer Sonya Yoncheva.

The winners of the Opus Klassik 2021 have been announced. Among the 48 winners are star pianist Lang Lang (39), who has become the “bestseller of the year” for his album “Bach: Goldberg Variations”.

Marc Albrecht (57) has become the “Conductor of the Year”, Fatma Said (30) is the “Young Artist of the Year”, Daniil Trifonov (30) is the “Instrumentalist of the Year” and Sonya Yoncheva (39) can claim the award ” Singer of the Year “happy. Star violinist Daniel Hope (48) will be honored with a special price for his online activities during the pandemic. Who receives the prize for his life’s work will not be announced until the evening of the award ceremony.

The prizes will be awarded on October 9th and 10th in Berlin, the gala on October 10th can be followed on ZDF from 10:15 p.m. Performances are expected by Sonya Yoncheva, Piotr Beczala (54), Daniel Hope, Daniil Trifonov, Fatma Said, Martin Fröst (50), Lucienne Renaudin Vary (22), Pablo Ferrández (30) and Ragnhild Hemsing (33). Presenter Désirée Nosbusch (56) will host the evening.
