(CercleFinance.com) – Orange Concessions announces that it has passed the milestone of 3 million homes eligible for fiber on the Public Initiative Networks (RIP) for which it is responsible for the deployment, operation and marketing.
By 2026, the objective of Orange Concessions, as the leading player in the deployment of optical fiber in rural areas in France, is to make 4.6 million dwellings eligible.
Orange Concessions has also published the results of a study recently conducted to understand the uses and expectations of future fiber optic users.
The operator thus makes it known that in rural areas, uses, costs and the need for information are the main obstacles identified by households that are eligible but not connected to fiber.
