Instructions:

1. Cut the citrus fruits into orange slices about 0.5 cm thick. Blot off the moisture with a cloth.

2. Then dry the orange slices either in the oven or on the heater. In the oven they need about 2 hours on a grate lined with baking paper at 100 degrees Celsius. Open the oven door several times in between so that the moisture can briefly escape. To save energy, the residual heat after z. B. the cookie baking are exploited. Alternatively, you can dry the orange slices on the heater: place them on a cloth and then on the heater for about seven days. The cloth absorbs the moisture. During this time, you can look forward to a bewitching scent in the room.

3. As soon as the orange slices are well dried, thread them on. Oranges and wooden beads are alternately drawn onto the string with a needle and thread. So that the orange decoration does not become too heavy and the thread may break, the garland should not be too long. If, on the other hand, you are planning a longer garland, use stronger yarn or wool.
