Whether as a decoration in the Easter basket or with a cord as a pendant on the Easter bouquet – the origami animals look good everywhere at Easter and can be made quickly with the simple folding instructions.
As material for the origami animals you need:
- colored construction paper (square); Tip: You can make the figures any size, depending on how big your paper is
- Paper leftovers for decoration
- scissors
- Glue
- pen (black)

Bring one tip to the diagonally opposite tip, creating a triangle.

Fold the triangle in half.

Fold up the bottom section of the triangle.

Fold both sides of the triangle towards the center so that they meet flush.

Fold the bottom small tip over.

Turn the origami animal over once.

Cut out two smaller pieces of paper from a different colored piece of paper and glue them to the ears of the origami animal.

Draw a face on the rabbit. Finished!

Bring one point of the square to the diagonally opposite point.

Fold the triangle in half and then unfold it again.

Fold over the side tips so that the dog gets two floppy ears.

Fold the small front tip over to both sides to make a snout.

With more scraps of paper, you can stick different colored eyes on the dog and emphasize the snout.

Cut off the top small tip of the snout.

Fold the square in half.

Open the square again, rotate it 90 degrees once, and fold it in half again.

Fold it diagonally to both opposite corners.

Fold the top and bottom corners in towards the center again.

Turn the paper over.

Stack the paper in the middle and push the sides up.

Flatten the origami animal and then rotate it 45 degrees to the right.

Fold the top left tip over so that it sticks out on the other side as a beak.

With some orange and red paper you can emphasize the tip of the beak and glue on a cockscomb. Draw an eye with the felt pen and your origami animal is ready.
