(CercleFinance.com) – Orpea announces that as of March 10, approximately 51% of the company’s unsecured financial creditors (representing an outstanding unsecured debt of around 1.9 billion euros) have adhered to the agreement of lock-ups.

This agreement relates to the financial restructuring of the Company concluded on February 14, 2023 with, on the one hand, the group of French investors led by Caisse des Dépôts, accompanied by CNP Assurances, MAIF and MACSF, and on the other hand, five institutions holding unsecured debt of the Company (the ‘SteerCo’).

As expected, the company plans to file, in the coming days, a request with the Nanterre Specialized Commercial Court to request the opening of an accelerated safeguard procedure in order to implement its restructuring plan. financial.
