Orpea presented its financial indicators for 2021 on Friday evening, including an EBITDAR (EBITDA before rents) up 10.9% to 1.07 billion euros, i.e. a margin of 24.9% for a turnover of 4 .28 billion, up 9.2% (including +5.1% organic).
Net financial debt stood at 7.77 billion euros at the end of 2021, an increase which mainly results from construction and external growth investments made during the year, while cash increased to 1.04 billion .
The French dependency care group also announced that the acquisition of the Spanish group Hestia Alliance was ultimately not completed, as certain essential conditions precedent could not be met within the time allowed.
