Orpea: first drawdown of 200 ME from ‘new money’ financing

(Boursier.com) — Orpea has just carried out a first drawdown of 200 million euros with its main banking partners for ‘new money’ financing.

This first drawdown of 200 ME was granted by the group’s main banking partners to Orpea SA and its subsidiaries Niort 94 and Niort 95. This amount corresponds to the entire D1A loan.

These funds will make it possible to finance and refinance the general needs of Niort 94, including the reimbursement of the intragroup debt owed to Orpea SA. The company will use the proceeds from the drawing to finance the group’s general needs, debt service and investment expenses.

The amounts of ‘new money’ financing remaining undrawn to date (and subject to certain conditions precedent) are credits D1B, D2 and D3 for a cumulative amount of 400 million euros.

The company is thus continuing to carry out its financial restructuring in accordance with the lock-up agreement dated February 14, 2023 entered into between Orpea SA and the members of the Consortium. It will continue to inform the market of the next steps in its implementation, in compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations.
