At Otto, as at other retailers, the shipping costs depend on the product that you order. By default, 2.95 euros are due for a package. Larger devices that are delivered by a forwarding agent have a one-off shipping cost of EUR 29.95. If you are in a hurry, you can take advantage of the 24-hour delivery. This costs EUR 15.90 for parcels and EUR 49.90 for delivery by courier.
If you order from Otto more often, the delivery flat rate could be worthwhile for you. This costs EUR 9.90 per year and covers all parcel deliveries. Since the Otto shipping for standard goods already costs just under six euros, you already have the costs for two orders. Ordering free shipping from Otto is only possible, if at all, within campaigns. The delivery flat rate is therefore a real alternative if you order there more often.
Otto also offers various additional services for your purchases. There is an installation and assembly service for numerous products, which you can book for a surcharge. Prices vary depending on the type of product. A practical thing for televisions or large kitchen appliances.
Financing at Otto
You can also pay for purchases at Otto in installments if you wish. Here the mail order company offers you to pay for your goods in 3 to 48 monthly installments. The effective annual interest varies depending on the length and is between 13.91 and 15.20 percent. There is also the “100-day payment break” service. If desired, financing can only begin after 100 days (subject to creditworthiness).
