Ouch… – middle finger randomly flashed – official mail!

All fingers are the same, in principle. However, something different applies in the car: the middle finger is considered an insult if it is extended and shown to someone. It’s just stupid if you think that the addressee won’t see the unfriendly sign – but you’re wrong.

Just like this driver experienced in Berlin. What happened? He gave a speed trap the finger, but was sure he wouldn’t get caught. After all, he wasn’t going too fast or at least he hit the brakes in time. How did the official photograph come about anyway? It’s simple: the car that overtakes him breaks the limit and is therefore photographed. The finger photo is, so to speak, collateral damage. The Berlin police – known for being busy with sympathetic posts on social media – published the photo on their Facebook page. In the “authorities post” the incident is described as follows: “You may also know this. You drive extra slow because you saw one of our speed camera cars – so far so good. This driver did the same and was probably still annoyed by our colleagues’ actions, so he showed them what he thought of the speed control. So he felt safe. But he wasn’t expecting the Audi next to him. He was driving too fast and our speed camera took this picture.” The punchline suggests that the Audi driver, who drives according to regulations, will now also find “authority mail” in his mailbox: “If he wants, he can now comment on the accusation of insult, But he doesn’t have to.”
