CES in Las Vegas – that meant enormous numbers of international guests for a long time. In 2022 everything will be different (again). Organizers, journalists and exhibiting companies are faced with the sharp rise in Corona cases of the Omikron variant in the USA.

Many companies have canceled their visit and moved to the virtual. The Netzwelt editorial team – a regular guest at the fair at normal times – has also canceled its visit to Las Vegas. None of this means that there is nothing new from the desert. All the gadgets, cell phones, televisions, cars, they are there – only partly in virtual form.

BMW shows ultimate entertainment in the car

Among other things, BMW is exhibiting vehicles in the exhibition halls that can change color at the push of a button. The various shades of gray are made possible by large-area e-ink films, but they are real eye-catchers but not suitable for the mass market.

The theater screen, which will soon appear in the equipment lists of the luxury bodies of the German manufacturer, is completely different. In conjunction with Amazon Fire TV, a 31-inch screen then extends, on which content up to 8K can be streamed. Spectacular, you shouldn’t miss the accompanying pictures and videos.

Razer shows a true glass desk dream

Gaming specialist Razer has presented a gaming chair. The Enki Pro HyperSense really shakes you up and looks great too.

Project Sophia is spectacular to watch. Behind it is a glass desk with a built-in gaming PC. The cool thing is that you can adapt the desk to your needs with the help of modules such as LED light, tablets, pen input surfaces, displays and more. Content is displayed on a 70-inch OLED screen.
