Thanks to the captures of Nin10doland & YTSunny, reassembled by the little hands of Mr. Poufy, we can better measure the evolution between the old and the latest Mario Kart. Indeed, almost all the circuits of Wave 2 come from previous episodes like the Kalimari Desert (Mario Kart 64; N64) or Circuit Mario 3 (Super Mario Kart, SNES).
No more large clusters of pixels, which are nevertheless the charm of old games, everything is more detailed with a much greater depth. But good ? Maybe not for the first hour fans. Some deplore, for example, a drop in difficulty between versions, with at times the removal of obstacles that made the circuits more complicated to negotiate.
Changes that are to be attributed to a new era where games are, on the whole, much easier to understand for various reasons. To see if the future circuits that would have leaked will be more faithful taking into account the complaints.
