Our original guacamole-based recipes: Femme Actuelle Le MAG


Avocados, chili, cilantro, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, salt and pepper: this is what you need to make a good guacamole! You can also add a few pinches of spices to spice it up (paprika, ginger, cumin) or even garlic and peppers. This Mexican culinary preparation is delicious as an aperitif with tortilla chips for example, or in the famous avocado-salmon or shrimp verrines.

The recipe for pasta with salmon and guacamole

Ingredients :

  • 300 g of tagliatelle
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 packet of guacamole spices
  • 20 cl of liquid cream
  • coriander
  • pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : in a saucepan of salted boiling water, cook the tagliatelle according to the package directions.

2nd step : while cooking, mix the liquid cream with the guacamole spices in a large bowl.

Step 3: then cut the smoked salmon into small pieces.

Step 4: Peel the avocados, cut them in half, remove the pits, then dice them. Add them to the guacamole mixture and mash everything with a fork.

Step 5: add the smoked salmon crumbs. Add salt and pepper.

Step 6: drain the pasta, then add it to the sauce. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of fresh cilantro, then stir well. Serve.

The recipe for beef and guacamole tacos

Ingredients :

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : cook the kidney beans.

2nd step : cook eggs to make soft-boiled eggs (in boiling water, with the shell, for 6 minutes). Book.

Step 3: slice the onions and cut the peppers into small cubes.

Step 4: cut cooked beef into thin slices. Mix it with the kidney beans and stuff it into the tortillas.

Step 5: add the onions, soft-boiled eggs, peppers, tomatoes and guacamole. Serve.

Chicken guacamole recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 10 cl of liquid cream
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 2 chicken aiguillettes
  • 1 red pepper
  • sweet pepper powder
  • olive oil
  • various herbs
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : Peel the avocado and mash it with a fork.

2nd step : add 10 cl of cream and the paprika. Mix, then set aside.

Step 3: Detail the chicken and the pepper into small cubes. Brown them in oil.

Step 4: then add the drained corn. Salt and pepper, add the herbs and cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Then let cool and set aside in the fridge.

Step 5: once everything is at the same temperature, mix the guacamole with the chicken mixture. Divide into cups and serve chilled, as an aperitif or as a starter.

The recipe for aumônières with smoked salmon and guacamole

Ingredients :

  • 4 plain pancakes
  • 4 slices of smoked salmon
  • 200 g of guacamole
  • lemon zest
  • chive sprigs
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : preheat the oven to 200 ° C.

2nd step : cut the smoked salmon slices into pieces. Place them in the center of each pancake.

Step 3: cover with the guacamole, lemon zest, salt and pepper.

Step 4: close the pancakes in small piles using chive sprigs.

Step 5: bake for about 20 minutes. Serve hot.

The recipe for the guacamole and poached egg sandwich

Ingredients :

  • 4 slices of sandwich bread
  • some spinach leaves
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of guacamole (see recipe here)
  • salt pepper

The preparation steps:

Step 1 : boil a pot of water.

2nd step : Meanwhile, clean and wring out the spinach leaves.

Step 3: when the water boils, turn off the heat then crack an egg in it. Cook for 3 minutes without touching it, then remove the egg using a skimmer. Repeat for the second egg.

Step 4: toast the slices of sandwich bread in the toaster.

Step 5: place a few spinach leaves on two slices.

Step 6: cover with the guacamole then the poached eggs.

Step 7: salt and pepper and add the remaining spinach leaves.

Step 8: close the sandwiches with the remaining slices of bread then enjoy!
