Our video hands-on video of the Sena R2 Evo and M1 Evo bicycle helmets

Sena bike helmets are known for their connectivity. The Evo range is based in particular on a Mesh Intercom technology which allows the helmets to be connected to each other, with no theoretical limit to the number. We were able to take control of the R2 and M1 Evo during a bike trip between Apt, in the Vaucluse, and Saint-Tropez, in the Var.

This 180 km trip allowed us to taste this technology, which convinced us overall. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of capture of the microphones present on the Sena helmets and the good rendering of the voices. Bluetooth connectivity also allows you to connect the headset to your smartphone to receive calls and listen to music. This last use is however more anecdotal, because the speakers remain focused on the high mids. The bass and treble are absent subscribers. In terms of comfort, the Sena R2 Evo and M1 Evo offer a correct performance, without being hair-raising.
