Fire ban in almost all districts
Because of the extreme drought, almost all district authorities have imposed fire bans, the LAWZ confirms: “In Villach, Spittal, Feldkirchen, Völkermarkt, Wolfsberg and St. Veit, handling fire outdoors is prohibited!” It is only a matter of time before until the districts of Klagenfurt-Stadt and -Land and Hermagor follow suit.
