Season 2 of the series Outer RangeEdit arrives in May on Amazon’s streaming platform and Prime Video has therefore unveiled the trailer for these new episodes. On the program for this series led by Josh Brolin (Dune): even more questions about the gaping hole that turned the Abbotts’ lives upside down.
Journey into nothingness
Josh Brolin will continue to do everything to protect his ranch and his family in the new season of Outer RangeEditthe seven episodes of which will land on Prime Video on May 16.
With this season 2, the series will continue to explore the mystery of the strange hole which occupies a piece of land on the Abbots family ranch, while Royal (Brolin) and his wife Cecelia (Lili Taylor, seen in the series Manhunt) are doing their best to maintain balance in their family since the sudden disappearance of their granddaughter.
As the trailer for this new season indicates, the Abbotts will have to face multiple threats while the characters of the series will delve into the mysteries of nothingness… and its travels through time.

Charles Murray is the showrunner and executive producer of this second season which will also see Brolin make his directorial debut on its penultimate episode.
In the casting, we still find Imogen Poots (The Father), Tamara Podemski (Reservation Dogs), Lewis Pullman (Lessons in Chemistry), Tom Pelphrey (Love & Death), Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek), Shaun Sipos (Reacher), Isabel Arraiza (Prodigal Son), Olive Abercrombie (The Haunting of Hill House) and Will Patton (Armageddon).
While waiting for May 16, the first season of this series straddling western and science fiction can be seen or rewatched on Prime Video.
