Good news for Outlander fans! Starz has just announced the development of a spin-off, titled Blood of my Blood (the blood of my blood) which will center on the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
It is now official. After several weeks of rumor, Starz has just announced the start of a spin-off of Outlander, its successful historical-fantasy series adapted from the novels by Diana Gabaldon. More specifically, it will be a prequel called Blood of my Blood which will focus on the parents of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and their love story.
It will be broadcast in France on the Starzplay platform, where the parent series is available exclusively on Netflix only. The two Outlander series will also share the same showrunner in the person of Matthew B. Roberts. As for Gabaldon, she will officiate as a consulting producer. Something to be optimistic about the quality of this spin-off…
