The 7th season of “Outlander” starts in the summer of 2023. Now there are the first pictures that already tell us something about the upcoming episodes. New characters are also finally introduced.

Not long now and we’ll be able to travel through time again with Jamie and Claire Fraser in the 7th season of “Outlander”. So that the wait for the new episodes doesn’t feel so long, here’s a first look at the couple’s penultimate adventure.
In season six, Jamie and Claire were torn apart and both their lives were at stake. Luckily, Ian was able to save Jamie and knew where to find Claire. So they both galloped to save her. And she desperately needs that rescue, because as we learn in the Season 7 teaser, Claire is about to be hanged.
The first pictures that the US broadcaster Starz gives us are less dramatic. As usual, Claire and Jamie show themselves emotionally in the middle of a battlefield.
Behind the couple are the tents of their troops and as harmonious as the couple looks, you can also spot some blood on Claire’s neck and hands. The medic probably just had to patch up a soldier before she could close herself in the safe arms of her husband.
The next pictures show Jamie alone in the forest. There’s something grand about him, obviously chasing a scent in his leather coat. only which one? His wife’s or someone else’s?
Claire and Jamie’s daughter Brianna also looks madly in love in their pictures while Roger holds her in his arms. He carefully touches her stomach, because the couple is expecting a child.
In addition to the well-known faces, the new pictures also show completely new characters. So we finally get a look at siblings Denzell & Rachel Hunter who will join Claire and her family in Season 7.
During the Revolutionary War, Denzell works as a surgeon in the infirmary, working side-by-side with Claire. Rachel supports her in this.
What else is waiting for us in the 7th season of “Outlander” remains to be seen. All we know is that the war will change the country and, with it, the life of the Frasers.
Outlander Season 7 premieres June 16, 2023 on Starz. A start date for Germany is not yet known, but with a trick you can already watch the series when it starts in the US.
