The longer you use Outlook, the more data accumulates in the cache. So it’s worth clearing your cache regularly. We show how to do it.
Attachments such as photos, videos or documents automatically end up in the Outlook cache after receiving an e-mail. Your buffer memory, also known as the cache, becomes full and important space is lost. But that’s not all. The stored data may also include confidential content that can be viewed by anyone with access to your computer.
If you care about your privacy, you should clear the cache regularly. You can also throw off superfluous data ballast. Observe the following points of the instructions to find and delete the cache.
This is how you clean the Outlook cache on Windows

Type “%appdata%” (without the quotes) into the Windows search bar. Opens the directory by clicking on the corresponding entry.

Now navigate to the “Content.Outlook” directory via Local > Microsoft > Windows > Temporary Internet Files.

Inside the folder is another folder. This has an arbitrary string of characters as its name.

Open the folder and then delete all files from it. Once this is done, your Outlook cache is cleared.
