Outlook: This is how you synchronize contacts and appointments with your iPhone or iPad


HOW DO I SYNCHRONIZE FOLDERS AND FILES OVER THE INTERNET?

If you manage your contacts and appointments on your PC with Outlook, you can synchronize them with your iPhone or iPad. So you have the full overview on the go.

In Outlook you not only have an overview of all your emails, you can also manage contacts and create appointments in the integrated calendar. If you also want to have this data on your iPhone or iPad, you don’t have to laboriously create it twice. Just use sync instead.

Installing iTunes is a prerequisite for synchronizing Outlook with your iPhone or iPad. Once done, follow the steps outlined below.

Sync Outlook with iOS

    Connect your Apple device to the computer and start iTunes. In the upper right corner you will find a button in the form of a mobile device. You have to click on this.

    To specify which features you want to sync with Outlook, click the About tab.

    You are now given a choice. Among them are address book contacts, calendar entries and e-mail accounts. Tick ​​the data you want to sync.
