Outriders: Worldslayer shows us its co-op game and tells us about its endgame

Outriders intends to treat itself to a second youth with the release of its extension named Worldslayer, which will bring new content in addition to an overhaul of certain systems. Our first contact with these novelties showed us that, failing to attract new people, Worldslayer should still offer interesting content for those who continue to play under People Can Fly. This extension will be released now in a few days, and Square-Enix took advantage of the Summer Game Fest to present it to us extensively.

Everything for the co-op

We first saw the game briefly at the Summer Game Fest conference, where he came to introduce us a co-op focused trailerwith action phases highlighting the new bestiary, such as the Shadows (monsters that blend into the shadows) and the new areas that we will have to cross in Worldslayer.

Enoch’s Challenges playable in co-op should also add quite a bit of challenge to the experience, with teamwork more important than ever.

The endgame part is revealed

The game also got a new show Transmission broadcast tonight which focused on the endgame part of the game, very important for the community. Finishing the scenario and defeating the new antagonist will only be the beginning of Worldslayer.

We discover a new dungeon, The Trial of Tarya Gratar, which promises to make life hard for us while being your new home. This brand new place will be explorable day and night, and will make us meet new enemies, with more and more powerful adversaries who will come to block our way as we progress. The new skill trees will therefore be very useful in dealing with these threats.

It is probably abouta dungeon with multiple routes that change constantly, enough to ensure replayability. If the challenge is failed, return to square one, but you will however have no timer to hinder you in your exploration. Of course, there will be a lot of new loot at stake, with boss encounters that can change with each run.

Outriders: Worldslayer will be available from June 30 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Google Stadia.
