Over 800 participants – conference in Innsbruck: technology meets medicine

The largest conference on medical technology in the German-speaking region is taking place this time in Innsbruck. More than 800 participants are expected at the congress at the end of September.

Everything revolves around technical devices in medicine, but digitization also plays an important role. From “telemedicine” to “artificial intelligence” The topics sound like something out of a science fiction novel: “biomedical technology”, “life science”, ” “Telemedical monitoring” such as ECGs sewn into clothing and the use of artificial intelligence, which is intended to use large amounts of data to predict illnesses. But it is about the medicine of the future, and the target group is primarily young scientists. More than 800 participants are expected at the conference and more than 500 contributions have already been received.
