Zlatko Junuzovic, who has scored numerous great goals in his long career, struck again.
In the training camp of series champion Red Bull Salzburg, the 33-year-old caused a stir with an overhead kick, which he promptly posted on his Instagram account.
Goalkeeper Mantl without a chance
Goalkeeper Nico Mantl had no chance at the midfield director’s hit. Within the team, however, there was promptly some fun.
“Without a goalie, or what?” Joked defense attorney Max Wöber. Albert Vallci, who was not yet fit after an Achilles tendon tear, asked the German goalkeeper: “What happened?”
Liendl: “Repairing a slipped disc”
Junuzovic’s friend Michael Liendl, the playmaker of league rivals Wolfsberg, couldn’t help but shame himself.
“Can you do it like that”, there was a touch of praise for “Sladdi” at first, only to add with a wink: “But most of the work is done by your physiotherapists to repair your herniated disc.”
