Overwatch 2 beta: How to register for the April tests?

More than two years after its announcement, the 1er November on the occasion of BlizzCon 2019, things are finally accelerating for Overwatch 2. Blizzard has indeed just announced a closed beta, for the end of Aprilsuggesting that development is progressing well.

How do I participate in the Overwatch 2 April Beta?

This first beta will therefore take place at the end of April, with a limited number of guests. This first closed beta is mainly organized for the purpose of testing the new features, to see if everything works well, in view of its final release, hopefully, later in the year.

To participate in this first beta, you can register on the official website. But be aware that nothing guarantees you a place, since the lucky winners will not be numerous. You will have to check his emails before the April closed beta kicks off to see if you are selected.

Regarding the content, we will discover a new heroine, namely Sojourn, and a new mode, Push. Here’s everything that will be playable during the April Closed Beta:

  • New heroine (damage): Sojourn
  • New game mode: “Push”
  • 5v5 Multiplayer
  • Hero Reworks
  • 4 new cards

At least one more beta will be held later, this time focusing on servers. As a result, more players can be selected. So don’t lose hope if you don’t participate on the first try.

Moreover, to deliver Overwatch 2 to us as soon as possible, know that the developers have chosen to derive the PvE and PvP experiences, so that we have access to the multiplayer content earlier. This will then allow teams to focus on PvE.

The release of Overwatch 2 is still not scheduled, but we should know a little more after this closed beta. The title is scheduled to arrive on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

One competition is organized with our partner Instant Gamingwhich allows you to leave with the video game of your choicefrom fifa credits or some V-bucks.
