Overwatch 2: Kiriko made official in a video

Overwatch is a license subject to leaks, and at the beginning of September, we learned that the new Hero had a good chance of being a healer and bearing the name of Kiriko. This was confirmed during the Tokyo Game Show, given that we had the right to a video highlighting the new heroine, third addition for the transition between Overwatch and Overwatch 2.

After Sojourn and Queen of the Junkers it is therefore Kiriko who revealed herself to the community, through a gameplay trailer, showing some of her possibilities on the battlefield. We also have confirmation that Kiriko has a close connection with a fox, as Blizzard teased a few weeks ago during one of the game’s betas.

The really good news for gamers is that Kiriko will be able to heal her allies. This is the first healing character introduced in three years, which will change the habits of those who like to take on the role of healer. For the rest, Kiriko seems to be able to throw kunais, scale walls, and even teleport to surprise her opponents. You can see her in action in the trailer below.

Kiriko, like all other characters introduced mid-season in Overwatch 2, will need to be unlocked in the Battle Pass, via the free path, fortunately. Those who own Overwatch will be able to get it from the launch of the game, namely October 4, 2022, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series and Nintendo Switch. As for the PvE mode, its release is scheduled for 2023.

A competition is organized with our partner Instant Gamingwhich allows you to leave with the video game of your choiceof the fifa credits or some V-bucks.
