It was during the Overwatch League Finals, which took place only a few days ago (at the time of this writing), that the next and new character coming on Overwatch 2 has been presented. It is Ramattrawhich is categorized as tank. For the occasion, Blizzard shared a video presenting the origins of said Hero.

This new visual communication thus allows us to learn that Ramattra is part of the race of “Omniacs”. This short video also brings some elements of lore around said character and the Omniacs: their very existence would fall under the ” miracle “, and Ramattra’s sole desire is to offer “ a better life to his people. But that’s not all.
Blizzard took the opportunity to reveal Ramattra’s arrival date on Overwatch 2. Thus, it is at the launch of Season 2 that players will be able to discover and play this new Hero: Ramattra is coming next December 6 in the title’s roster of playable characters.
It’s a safe bet that Blizzard will soon share more information about Ramattra, but also about the content of Season 2. Obviously, we will keep you informed as soon as new details on this subject are revealed.
