A few months ago, Blizzard’s well-known FPS, Overwatch, got a makeover and now bears the name Overwatch 2. The opportunity for many game fans to dive back into it or even for a multitude of other to finally be able to play it, since it is free-to-play.
Along with making a change in the roster from six to five players, the developers also offered brand new maps and characters to the community. However, some of them are already causing concern, in particular Sojourn which seems to be a little too powerful when played with Ange.
The Sojourn/Ange duo soon to be nerfed?
Sojourn and Ange represent THE terrifying DUO of Overwatch 2. If this one is in your team, well done to you, you have a good chance of winning. If he’s against you, well… Good luck! Sojourn’s ultimate ability is monstrously powerful, and players have figured out that it works perfectly well with Ange who is able to increase damage to her allies. In addition, it can very quickly switch to healing mode and thus easily rescue the DPS. It is therefore quite complex to overcome, which has angered a good part of the community lately.
This dominance was noticed by developers who took into account the many complaints from the community and said they were going to do something to change all that. Jodie Grace Mckaughan, the game’s community manager, said: ” I know it hurts right now, especially when you see him (the duo) so often in your games. We’ll have more to share soon, but changes are coming! »
While this answer makes no mention of a possible nerf, we can easily imagine that’s what Jodie was referring to. Sojourn has been nerfed in previous updates, but Ange hasn’t. Could it be that the patch team is focusing on the healer instead of the attacker? Or maybe both will be nerfed? We’ll have to wait a little longer before we find out, but in the meantime you can always abuse the strength of this duo while it’s still possible.
