Originally, Overwatch 2 had to offer a competitive mode free-to-play and a real story campaign to discover in cooperation with friends, taking us on missions PvE around the world, with the possibility of developing our Hero preferred over the games.

- INVASION STORY MISSIONS
Players who purchase the Invasion Bundle from the in-game store will be able to take part in all-new Story Missions with their friends or other queued people. - NEW GAME MODE – HOT SPOT
Hotspot is an all-new main game mode available on two of Overwatch’s biggest maps, Suravasa and New Junk City. This revolves around a central objective called “hot spot”, which each team must capture first. Capturing is the same as in Control mode, but faster.
The point is captured when a team has controlled it long enough to reach 100% progress. If, at 99%, the hot spot is contested by a member of the opposing team while the latter does not control it, overtime is triggered until the controlling team can get rid of the characters opponents present on the point or that the team contesting it manages to seize it.
When a team manages to completely capture a hot spot, it scores a point. However, the game continues: a new hot spot is activated elsewhere on the map, and both teams must immediately rush there to take control of it. Each time a new hotspot is activated, it will be approximately equidistant from the respawn points of both teams.
The first team to capture three of the five hotspots wins the game.
Hotspot mode is currently available in unranked play, but will be added to competitive play later in the season.
