Almost four months after the release ofOverwatch 2 free-to-play on most platforms, Blizzard’s FPS will launch its third season, with the aim of enhancing its game with some new features, while trying to bring in new players. As often, significant additions are expected, which is why some are wondering when is overwatch 2 season 3 coming out.
When does Overwatch 2 Season 3 start?
Although it hasn’t been officially announced by Blizzard yet, based on the information we have in-game, Overwatch Season 3 is set to release on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. The update should normally be deployed in the early evening on the servers, unless the studio changes its habits. At this time, it will be possible to discover many things.
In addition to the usual balances for the Heroes, to try to keep a balanced meta and to avoid that certain characters are considered too powerful, and to give some interest to those neglected, we should welcome a card. This one hasn’t been revealed yet, but there’s a good chance that a new battleground will land, possibly an underwater map, which leaked a few days ago.
On the Hero side, it is unlikely to welcome a new one, since the developers should alternate each character and card season.
