Without warning in the Overwatch League, the Paris Eternal begins a spring cleaning in the middle of the summer season. The move is in full preparation with the departure, but also the arrival of players.
The end of an era
The French cocorico starts packing his bags never to return; indeed the Paris Eternal move has already started with the departure of Kaan, Vestola, Dridro and Daan.
The team announced its decision to relocate from Paris to Las Vegas last June. So, in 2023, Paris Eternal will no longer be Vegas Eternal. While we thought that the roster would remain untouched until the move, now the face change is starting to happen with as we told you just before the departure of 4 players.
We therefore welcome Lukemine, Rakattack, Krawi, but also MaltheL; their arrival is probably no coincidence, because the inn is on fire. The European list is no longer to make way for a North American list.
A change to try to scoop the water out of the boat?
Paris Eternal is not in its best form with the scoreboard displaying 1 – 13. We are far from the golden age of Paris Eternal and the change of coach is undoubtedly linked to these disappointing results.
The four newbies know each other well, as they all come from the same Contenders team, so some synergy can definitely be felt. Unfortunately, the gap has become too big, so the end of the competition that cannot be caught up. This is why, one can think that this sudden change will undoubtedly be used to train these new recruits. All of these new faces are promising, so maybe the Vegas Eternal can shine a bit, under a new identity.
