It’s a small change to the Overwatch 2 esports scene. The Philadelphia Fusion club, based until now in Pennsylvania in the USA, has just announced its relocation to Seoul, South Korea. For the occasion, the team logically changes its name and logo, and becomes Seoul Infernal. This is not necessarily a big change for the structure, however, since the team, which belongs to the American company Comcast Spectacor (owner of the NHL team Philadelphia Flyers), has been operating from South Korea since 2020.
Today, we announced plans to rebrand ourselves in the new year as the Seoul Infernal and relocate to South Korea.

The structure and its academic team T1, have not yet announced a roster for the upcoming season. Only MN3 and ZEST are still in office, as is coach J1N, after the departure of the Korean five led by Carpe at the end of 2022. For Dave Scott, president and general manager of Comcast Spectacor:
We assessed how best to compete at a consistent championship level, and realized that our franchise will be best positioned to succeed in Seoul. We are thrilled to begin this new chapter as Infernal Seoul, and our team is proud to represent our current and future fans.
The team logo and colors also switch from orange and black to red and black, to also recall the correlation with the T1 structure, which is very popular in this region of the world. The management and the current roster should remain in place, announces the team.
