OxygenOS 13 is coming: OnePlus and Oppo user interfaces are not merging after all

In September 2021, the Chinese companies Oppo and OnePlus announced that they would merge their user interfaces. This is not supposed to happen after all, a separate user interface is to be installed on cell phones from both manufacturers.

As OnePlus announced in a press release, only the code base should remain identical. This ensures faster updates and better build quality.

During the year, the new user interface OxygenOS 13 will appear for smartphones from OnePlus, while Oppo will distribute ColorOS 13. There is still no official information about either user interface.
