Ozzy Osbourne: Slowly he's getting better

Ozzy Osbourne (71) is a fighter! He has always been, as the past months and years have shown only too well. After pneumonia and a severe fall last year, the cult rocker of Black Sabbath ("Paranoid") made public in January 2020 that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Now the front man has given a current health update that encourages.

"It's getting slow"

The singer is slowly but steadily getting better, reports the music website "NME", referring to a performance by Osbourne on the US show "The Talk", which is moderated by his wife Sharon (67), among others. In a way, the corona crisis was even helpful, because Osbourne had never been home for as long as he explained. "I'm feeling better," said the 71-year-old, for whom it was a long process, "but it is becoming so slow".

In March, his daughter Kelly Osbourne (35) had already told "ET Online" that the musician was doing relatively well: "To see what happened after a stem cell treatment and what progress he has made is overwhelming." Her father wanted to get up, do things and "be part of the world again. He is better. He speaks better. His symptoms subside. He builds up the muscle strength that he needs after his spinal surgery".
