Packages of pistachios recalled due to traces of pesticide

After the case of Buitoni pizzas and Kinder chocolates, the government site launched a recall on packages of pistachios after the discovery of traces of pesticide “in quantity higher” than the maximum residue limits (MRLs) set by the European Union .

These are 250 gram packets of shelled pistachios from the B & S Cuisine brand.

The recalled product bears the barcode 3580281252024 and has an expiry date of April 30, 2023. More specifically, the affected lot is 1006. These packages were sold throughout France between March 9 and April 8, 2022 .

Many products have recently been recalled after the discovery of pesticides or bacteria. However, it should be noted that food product recalls are regular in France.

Nevertheless, Buitoni pizzas contaminated with E. coli bacteria or even Kinder chocolates which have caused cases of salmonellosis have made the news in recent weeks.
