“We are announcing that we are all stepping down,” said Shah Mahmood Qureshi, a former foreign minister and deputy chairman of Khan’s party, in a speech to the assembly ahead of the vote to elect a new prime minister.
Khan was ousted in a vote of no confidence by the same assembly in the early hours of Sunday.
