Singularity 6 is a studio founded in 2018 by Anthony Leung and Aidan Karabaich, two Riot alumni. They were later joined by other industry veterans, and have just announced the first project: palia. It is above all a community MMO, which will have a vast fantastic open world. We give you all the information you need to know about it below.
What is Palia?
As we told you just above, palia East “ a massively multiplayer simulation game with community components “, where the adventure takes place in a ” a gigantic fantasy open world “. The atmosphere will not be dark and morose, quite the contrary, since the developers tell us that it is a world ” warm and welcoming “. What’s more, we know that the title will evolve over time after its release, since the studio has already planned to feed it with new content.

In Palia, humans are a legendary race, having died out thousands of years ago when they were at the height of their greatness and mastery of magic. Their disappearance remains, even today, a mystery. Until the day when humans begin to reappear all over the world. Obviously, being part of the newly reappeared humans, you will have to build your own home in this friendly world while forging a future for yourself, but also for the rest of humanity.
When will Palia be released?
During its announcement, Singularity 6 explained that Palia was not yet ready to announce its release date. In the months that followed, we didn’t get any more details, except that the studio explained that Palia will be released when it’s ready. In June 2023, a Winter 2023 release window was unveiled. What platforms will Palia be playable on?
At the time, Palia had only been announced on PC. However, in June 2023 during a Nintendo Direct, Singularity 6 also announced a Nintendo Switch release. No mention of PlayStation or Xbox has been made to date.
