Paloma Faith has become a mother for the second time. The British singer gave birth to her daughter by caesarean section.
"I'm not pregnant anymore," announced Paloma Faith (39) on Instagram. The British singer gave birth to her second daughter with partner Leyman Lahcine by caesarean section, as she announced with two photos on Sunday evening. One picture shows her daughter's little feet, another Faith in the delivery room. She is in great pain and has not slept all night, reports the new mother. "But it was worth meeting my new angel in front of me."
Open words about postpartum pain
The 39-year-old, who had previously reported openly about her difficulties getting pregnant and kept a public "pregnancy diary" on Instagram, honestly talks about the after-effects of the birth. "It's only been about 30 hours and I'm already totally exhausted, sore and my nipples are burning thanks to the baby piranha who wants to kill me," jokes the Better Than This singer.
"But of course I am excited. This baby could no longer be loved or wanted," continues Paloma Faith. The singer already has a daughter with her partner Leyman Lahcine. She was born in December 2016.
