On TF1
From 7 a.m., Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau will be on the air for this special program, accompanied by Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, Denis Brogniart, Christophe Beaugrand, and Louis Bodin. Other journalists will be in different emblematic places of Paris for a total immersion.
While Anne-Claire Coudray will parachute with paratroopers from the Air Force and Space, Gilles Bouleau will be on board a helicopter to fly over Paris. La Une is preparing other surprises for its viewers, in particular an exclusive immersion in the new training school for firefighters in Paris.
On France 2
Early risers will be able to turn on their televisions from 6:30 a.m., kick-off time for Julian Bugier’s special edition. Faustine Bollaert, Stéphane Bern, Jarry, Chloé Nabédian or even Tony Estanguet will follow one another on the air. Thomas Pesquet will go aboard the submarine “Le Suffren” to show viewers the daily life of submariners, while Jean-Baptiste Marteau will be in Haute-Marne to fly aboard a Rafale.
Later in the evening, the Orchester National de France and the Maîtrise and Choeur de Radio France will give a concert at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, broadcast on France 2. The traditional fireworks display will then be broadcast live.
Emmanuel Macron will arrive at 10 a.m. on site and will be welcomed, as tradition dictates, by the Chief of the Defense Staff. The air parade will begin at 10:35 a.m., while the 5,000 soldiers will begin their march at 10:40 a.m. The motorized and mounted troops will then follow one another, until the departure of the President of the Republic, at noon.
