The latest version of Parallels is finally available. And imagine that there are a lot of new things on the program.

The application takes advantage of this new version to redesign its user interface and offers a long-awaited feature.

Parallels 19: what’s new in the program?

If you don’t know what Parallels Desktop is for, know that the application allows Apple computer owners to run Windows (or another OS) directly on their Mac through virtualization. Like every year, and in view of the arrival of macOS Sonoma, the application has just been updated. This promises compatibility with the next version of Apple’s operating system, scheduled for next fall. But as you’d expect, that’s not the only good news we have to share with you today.

Yes, in addition to compatibility with macOS Sonoma, Parallels Desktop 19 introduces support for Touch ID (which will also desert future iPhones). This will certainly make your daily life easier when you want to connect to your Mac and your various applications. Although you will no longer have to manually enter your passwords, they will still be stored in the keychain. This new version of Parallels also offers a redesign of its application and a whole host of other new features designed to improve the user experience.

Parallels Desktop

  • Direct download of Windows 11 without leaving the application
  • Native compatibility with Apple Silicon
  • Simplified virtual machine configuration

Parallels Desktop is the best, and only so far, serious choice among virtualization solutions. Everything is fluid and stable, so much so that the Coherence mode makes us forget that we are using two different operating systems. Its ease of use makes it a solution to put in the hands of everyone, whether it’s a novice wishing to play games on his Mac or a professional with specific software needs.
