Paramedic beaten – drunk goes crazy and attacks police officers

Wild scenes took place early Sunday afternoon in Styrian Strallegg (district of Weiz): A 55-year-old suffered injuries in a fall, but when the rescue team arrived, the East Styrian went crazy and attacked several people, including even the emergency doctor and a paramedic.

The 55-year-old should have “refueled” properly in a restaurant in Strallegg on Sunday. When he wanted to leave the restaurant around 1 p.m., he fell down a flight of stairs and hit his head on the asphalt. Concerned about his guest, the host immediately called the rescue service. But instead of being happy about help, the injured man attacked the paramedic who arrived and also attacked the emergency doctor. But then the East Styrian became really aggressive and threatened to kill everyone present, including the police officers who had meanwhile arrived. Even in the ambulance, the man apparently could not calm down, continued to make death threats and tried to attack the police officers who were traveling with him. Moved to Graz Arrived at the hospital, the 55-year-old continued to rage, causing a police officer to fall. The man was therefore transferred to the LKH Graz II, southern location, and was admitted there as an inpatient – during transport he damaged the ambulance with kicks. The man has now been reported to the public prosecutor’s office in Graz for resisting state authority, multiple attempts at bodily harm, dangerous threats and property damage.
