Parent video: mother shows lifehack for dog and baby

Phew – keeping an eye on a little baby and a lively dog at the same time is really not easy for parents. An Australian mother spontaneously had a good idea …

What happened?

One Australian woman had a problem that many parents and pet owners are all too familiar with: Not only was their little son constantly active and had to be constantly monitored so that he didn't destroy anything or put it in his mouth – her dog was also extremely lively and needed an extra helping of attention. Each of these factors is often enough individually to bring people to the edge of exhaustion – but together, dog and baby can quickly become real parent torture.

Indeed. Even under the best of circumstances, that is an extremely difficult situation.

The Australian mother Kathleen suddenly had a flash of inspiration in this careful balancing act between little baby and active dog: There had to be a way for the two to keep each other happy, right?

That would of course be the best for everyone involved.

After a short thought, she had a brilliant idea: She went into the garden and fastened her son's romper, who had been able to take the first clumsy steps for some time, with a leash on the clothes dryer. Now her baby was supported so that it could walk and hop in circles without falling over.

Ah. That is practical.

And that was just the beginning: Opposite, on the other side of the tumble dryer, she fastened the dog leash of her Jack Russell terrier, who could now also walk a bit in the garden (in a circle, of course).

So, the trick was to tie the child and dog with a leash? I'm not sure.

That was just the beginning. Ingeniously, the dog and baby were in such perfect balance that they balanced each other out perfectly – and made a kind of "weightless" carousel possible for both of them. The child could now hop as far as if it were on the moon. And the dog also enjoyed his tour and the laughing baby. In any case, the video that the mother made of her invention clearly shows – here the animal and child both have a lot of fun – and mom has a little breather.
