Reservations for the various competitions will take place in several stages. We explain everything in detail to make sure you get your tickets.
The Olympic Games will take place in France in a year and a half, and it is now time to reserve your places to attend one or more competitions.
10 million tickets on sale for the 2024 Olympics alone
The event, which takes place from July 26 to August 11, 2024, should attract large numbers of spectators to all the stadiums and facilities selected to host the various events.
The organizing committee indicates that 10 million tickets will be on sale for the 2024 Olympic Games alone, and 3.5 million additional tickets for the Paralympic Games, which will take place from August 28 to September 8.
If you want to attend one or more competitions, it’s from today 1er December 2022 that you can connect to the official Games ticket office. Be careful though, several steps are to be expected to try to win the precious sesame.
To manage the crowds and satisfy as many people as possible, the Olympic Committee is betting on a draw
From today until December 31, a first stage of registration is open on the official ticket office of the games. The latter only allows you to book packs, consisting of at least three sporting events, apart from the surfing events taking place in Tahiti and excluded from these reservations.
Once the registration period is over, you will have to cross your fingers. Indeed, a draw will take place between all participants. If you receive an email at the end of this step confirming your selection, you will then be able to buy your tickets between February 15 and March 13. A 48-hour slot will be indicated to you a few days before by email, and reserved to allow you to compose your packs.
In May 2023, the second booking phase will take place, which will now concern single tickets, as well as places for the opening ceremony, which will take place on the Quais de Seine, and the closing ceremony. Tickets for the Lower Quays will be charged at 90 euros, while the Upper Quays will be free.
The third and final phase will take place in September 2023 and will concern the sale of tickets for the Paralympic events, without a draw.
To allow as many people as possible to attend the Games, the Organizing Committee indicates that a limit of 30 places per account and six places per connection session will be applied. Same thing for prices. Half of the tickets will be charged less than 50 euros and a million places will not see their price exceed 24 euros.
If you were not selected in the draw, a last purchase window will be available at the end of 2023, but places will obviously be limited.
