Saturday evening on the Champs-Elysées, in Paris, a driver refused to obey the police bikers. While accelerating, the latter would have violently struck another vehicle, as well as two pedestrians.
According to information from Actu17, the driver, driving a Mini Cooper, ended his race on the left flank, before fleeing on foot.
He would have been arrested a few hundred meters further. The passenger in the vehicle, who had also fled, was also arrested.
A victim in absolute emergency
A woman knocked down by the driver was seriously injured in the hip. She was evacuated to the Georges Pompidou hospital, in a state of absolute emergency.
Another victim was also taken to hospital in a state of relative emergency.
The driver and passenger were also injured.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the legal accident processing service.
