Paris Fan Festival: the artistic know-how “Made in France” will be, this weekend, in the spotlight of this new Parisian fair

Cinema and Animation Made in France

French audiovisual productions will be at the center of the Fan Festival conference program. First of all Fortiche Production, the creators of the Arcane series won 9 awards at the 2022 Annie Awards, will return exclusively for the Fan Festival to the genesis and creation of the phenomenal series directly inspired by League of Legends and broadcast on Netflix. Fans will thus have the opportunity to learn the trade secrets of Arcane during the very first public conference appearance of the Fortiche studio!

Simon Astier will present his brand new series, Visitors, a clever mix of science fiction and comedy. The creator of Hero Corps will answer questions from the public, a few days before the broadcast of the episodes of the first original French creation on Warner TV.

Douglas Attal, already behind the production of How I became a superhero streaming on Netflix, will come talk about the audio series Batman Autopsy which will be broadcast from May 2 on Spotify and of which he is making the French adaptation.

An exhibition of costumes and accessories will allow you to discover the know-how of Parallel Life Studio. The company specializing in the design and manufacture of costumes, notably at the origin of the costume of the character of Philippe Lacheau in the film Superhero in spite of himselfwill present his creations.

From Batman to Superman via Loki or even Spider-Man, visitors will be able to discover all the art of creating iconic costumes and accessorieswho forged the legend of these characters on the big and small screen.

The Made in France video game

The Made in France video game will be represented by two major French studios whose creations are exported worldwide: Dontnod Entertainment (Life is Strange) and Quantic Dream (Detroit: Become Human, Star Wars Eclipse). On the occasion of a conference on the increasingly close links between video games and the cinema industry, Talal Selhami, Director and Cinematic Director at Dontnod Entertainmentand Benjamin Diebling, director on Quantic Dream’s upcoming Star Wars Eclipse.

The Fan Festival will also host the first physical version of AG French Direct. This independent conference, which is celebrating its 3rd year of existence, is devoted to the discovery of French-language video game projects still under development. The public will be able to discover the 10 most promising games during a show on the main stage of the Fan Festival.

Made in France artists and young creators

auklairvisual artist and Pop Culture enthusiast, will present an amazing exhibition, with steampunk artwork which borrows from superheroic iconography and science fiction.

LSLMaker will transport the public to the most epic scenes from the Star Wars movies with miniature sets recreating the emblematic characters and vessels of the universe created by George Lucas.

Finally, the Paris Fan Festival will highlight young creators in a space reserved for the presentation of their craft or artistic work. Visitors will be able to find the artist Makehousan whose illustrations are an ode to his passion for Japanese culture. Okaia will come to discover its unique fragrances, inspired by the heroes of the DC Comics universe, allowing fans to choose their favorite personalities.
