At Paris Fashion Week, the luxury fashion house Chanel presented a new skin couture collection. Model Kaia Gerber (18) stole the show on the catwalk in a strapless lace dress all in white. The highlight of her outfit was the sweeping skirt with a tulle border. She also wore a see-through black tulle stole with white lace sleeves. White tights, white socks and black loafers completed the fashionable black and white look.
Simplicity as a trump card
Her brunette bob was laid back in a smooth wet look. When it comes to make-up, Chanel primarily relies on natural nuances. Gerber's eyes were emphasized with a black kohl and dark eyeshadow. There were no other accessories for the outfit.
Compared to Karl Lagerfeld's (1933-2019) previous lines, the current Chanel collection by designer successor Virginie Viard (58) is much simpler. While Lagerfeld often opted for eye-catching accessories, bags and jewelry, the 58-year-old designer almost entirely avoided additional accessories.
