They have well and truly buried the hatchet! In the early 2000s, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan were very close and met at the trendiest parties in Los Angeles. If they moved away over the years and ended their friendship, things would have worked out between the two young women. Guest on the show Watch What Happens Live, the heiress said: “I just feel like we’re adults now. I just got married. She just got engaged. We are no longer in high school. I think it was just very immature and now everything is fine.“Discussing their recent reconciliation, it was when Lindsay Lohan got engaged to Bader Shammas last November that the pretty blonde assured:”I saw that she got engaged on my honeymoon and said congratulations.“
Last December, it was in his podcast, This is Paris, that Paris Hilton had discussed her relationship with the former Disney star. “I know we’ve had our differences in the past, but I just wanted to say congratulations and that I’m really, really happy for her.“, she said before adding: “It makes me so happy to see that 15 years later, so much has happened in the past two weeks. I got married, Britney got her freedom back and got engaged, and Lindsay just got engaged too. So I love seeing how different our lives are now and how much we have all grown and made room for love in our lives.” Overwhelmed, the star said: “I think love is the most important thing in life, it’s something that really changes you and makes you grow. When you find that special someone who is your other half, who is your best friend and who you can trust… and it’s just an amazing feeling.“
Paris Hilton: ‘It was a bit of an on-and-off friendship’
Almost a year ago, Carter Reum’s wife had already confided in her relationship with Lindsay Lohan. She said in her podcast: “She did things that really hurt me. She betrayed my trust and caused a lot of pain. At the time, we were no longer friends, it was a bit of an intermittent friendship. When I think about it now, we were so young, immature. It felt like a high school story, especially in Los Angeles, where you had to live in public, with media constantly trying to create drama.
