A consecration that breaks 14 years of hegemony of women’s OL. The Parisiennes end the season undefeated and with 62 points, one more than the Lyonnaises who end with a victory-river (8-0) against Fleury.
The PSG girls took control of the championship in November by beating their Lyon rivals 1-0 at the Parc des Princes, and have not let go since. In fact, the title was already reaching out to them since the draw obtained last Sunday in Lyon. “We would have liked to win but this 0-0 allows us to keep the cards in hand”, summed up midfielder Sara Däbritz after the game. “There is one match left against Dijon that we have to win.
