Partouche announces turnover up 4% in the third quarter – 09/12/2023 at 6:19 p.m.


(AOF) – The Partouche group, a games specialist, announces its consolidated turnover for the third quarter of the 2023 financial year (May – July 2023). In a normalized operating environment, turnover for the quarter increased by 4.1% to 105.1 million euros. At the end of July 2023, after taking into account scope effects over the period, the cumulative 9-month turnover stood at 320.7 million euros, an increase of 1.3% compared to 2022, with a net gaming revenue (GRP) of 255.3 million euros, up 11.8%.

Net gaming revenue increased by 6.5% over the quarter to 178.7 million euros in the third quarter, compared to 167.9 million euros a year earlier. In France, the GRP benefited from an increase in attendance of 4.8% and stood at 161.5 million euros, up 5.6%, with slot machines and traditional games increasing respectively by 5 .3% and 6.8%.

Global tourism still on the rise

Over the first nine months of 2022, 700 million tourists traveled internationally, more than double (+133%) the figure recorded for the same period in 2021. This figure reached 63% of 2019 levels , which should allow the sector to reach 65% of its pre-pandemic levels in 2022. This result is due to a high level of demand and the gradual lifting of restrictions in a large number of countries. Europe is significantly supporting this rebound with the arrival of 477 million people between January and September 2022 (68% of the global total), reaching 81% of the pre-covid level. Tourism there is driven by strong intra-regional demand and travel from the United States. Some destinations saw notable increases in revenue, including Serbia, Romania, Turkey, Latvia, Portugal, Pakistan, Mexico, Morocco and France.
