After the cancellation of the Ligue 1 clash between Marseille and Lyon, Rudy Manna reacts in the show “Pascal Praud and you” to the behavior of the supporters who attacked the OL bus. Listen to the excerpt again. You can react at 01.80.20.39.21.

The summit of the 10th day of Ligue 1 between Olympique de Marseille and Olympique Lyonnais turned into a nightmare on Sunday evening, around 7 p.m. The OL bus was targeted by supporters with paving stones and smoke bombs thrown at the vehicle. Result: the windows exploded and shards of glass hit the faces of the coach and his assistant.

At the microphone of Pascal Praud and you, Rudy Manna, Alliance Police spokesperson, assures that the police will “do the job to arrest these guys”. He adds: “I hope, but I really hope that they will have exemplary sanctions.”

“It’s no longer possible to have 50 guys attack a bus”

Rudy Manna is clear. For him, the cancellation of this match, between OM and OL, is “the fault is on these 50 stupid people who attacked the bus”. He would like significant sanctions to be applied to those first concerned as on the other side of the Channel. “There are hooligans and in England, they will deal with the problem by banning access to the stadium,” he underlines.

The union spokesperson wants to set a good example, which would involve a lifetime ban on entering stadiums for these supporters. “It’s no longer possible to have 50 guys attacking a bus of players. It’s useless, it’s completely stupid. And what’s more, it brings a cataclysmic image for the city of Marseille”, regrets, exasperated, Rudy Manna.
