The unlikely friendship between a caveman at the dawn of evolution and a dinosaur whose species is on the verge of extinction. The two unite for their survival in a primal and violent world.

Series signed Genndy Tartakovsky, the brilliant creator of SamuraiJack, Dexter’s Laboratory And Clone Wars, Primal is a universal, almost wordless and stunningly beautiful animated series. An irresponsible, drunken flight attendant wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man, with no idea what happened.

Adapted from the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian, the series is a very entertaining dark comedy gem. Clever mix of thriller and humor, The Flight Attendant also has a solid cast (Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Rosie Perez), carried by the amazing Kaley Cuoco, a thousand leagues from her role in The Big Bang Theory. Two seasons of eight episodes each that devour each other in one go.

The Knick –HBO

In the early 20th century, a brilliant surgeon pushes the boundaries of medicine, morality, and race relations at a New York City hospital, the Knickerboxer.

Written by the creators of Perry MasonJack Amiel and Michael Begler, The Knick tackles the dawn of modern surgery in a thrilling medical drama with a unique atmosphere. Between medical enigmas, social issues (racism, eugenics, sexism) and intimate dramas, the series is a gem of tension and fascinating characters. Olive Kitteridge –HBO

The story of a math teacher and her relationship with Henry (Richard Jenkins), her kind-hearted husband, her son Christopher, and the other residents of a crime-infested community.

This four-part mini-series delicately deals with the complex theme of depression. Director Lisa Cholodenko (The Kids Are All Right) brings a touch of elegance and sensitivity to this intimate drama. Worn by Oscar-winning actress Frances McDormand (Three Billboard, nomadland), supported by a cast of tasty secondary roles (Richard Jenkins, Ann Dowd), Olive Kitteridge is an underrated HBO production that is well worth watching.

suspicions – TCM Cinema

Daughter of a wealthy general, Lina McKinlaw marries John Aysgarth, a handsome boy with a reputation as a gambler and runner. Soon, the young woman suspects her husband of wanting to kill her in order to receive the insurance premium.

If you are a fan of classic movies, suspicions is a staple of its kind.
